terms and conditions

Scope of application

These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations and services provided by Comobi BV, located at Kruideniersstraat 3, 9000 Ghent, with company number BE 0746529420. This includes the processing and execution of reservations regarding comfortable and qualitative passenger transport. In collaboration with professional partners, transport options are offered to both private individuals and companies.

Making reservations

Reservations can be requested by e-mail (info@comobi.be) or via our site www.comobi.be. Comobi BV will then always expressly accept or decline the order by mail. The client must pay in advance according to fixed rates to finalise the reservation, unless agreed otherwise. The rates can be requested by mail or can be consulted on www.comobi.be. Additional costs such as péage or an additional address will also be included in the price. After payment, Comobi BV undertakes to execute the order. As long as the client has not paid, Comobi BV is allowed to suspend its services until there is proof of payment.

Companies also have the possibility to pay by invoice. The amount must then be transferred at the latest on the due date of the invoice. In case of insufficient payment, Comobi BV is entitled to claim damages, cancel orders and possibly pursue criminal sanctions.

Customer obligations

The customer must:

  • Comply with traffic regulations, such as wearing a seat belt.
  • Follow all reasonable instructions and directions of the driver.
  • Ensure the smooth accessibility of the collection point.
  • Contact as soon as possible if driver is not at the agreed time/place.

Subsequently, the customer is not allowed to:

  • Damage the vehicle.
  • Contaminate the vehicle.
  • Using alcohol in the vehicle.
  • Smoking in the vehicle.
  • Be aggressive towards the driver, both physically and verbally.
  • Obstructing the driver while performing the task.

Any infringement by the customer resulting in a fine or damage will be recovered from them. The client also provides all relevant details of his reservation to Comobi BV:

  • Flight details
  • Address
  • Contact details
  • Number of passengers
  • Number of pieces of luggage
  • Need for a child seat
  • Specific luggage such as golf bags, diving suits, wheelchairs, etc.
  • Presence of pets
  • Other elements specifically affecting the execution of the order

If the client provides incomplete or incorrect information, Comobi BV cannot be held responsible for any non-execution of the order. In addition, Comobi BV can request a supplement if there are costs associated with the lack of information.

Obligations Comobi BV

Comobi BV commits to transport their clients safely and comfortably to their destination at the scheduled time. In doing so, the most favourable route is always chosen.

Subsequently, it is also the duty of the driver to assist the client with boarding and disembarking and with carefully loading the luggage.

Comobi BV is obliged to carefully handle the client's personal data entrusted to it when making the reservation. This is done according to the Personal Data Protection Act and the data processing agreement.

Cancellation

The client has the right to cancel the reservation free of charge up to 24 hours in advance, unless costs have already been incurred by Comobi BV.

Comobi BV may stop the execution of an order if the client fails to meet his obligations in such a way that Comobi BV cannot reasonably be expected to execute the rides. For this, Comobi BV cannot be held liable and possible damages of the client will not be compensated.

Finally, the booking can be cancelled both by Comobi BV and the clients in cases of force majeure or if, due to external factors (such as extreme weather conditions), the safe execution of the order can no longer be guaranteed. Both parties cannot be held liable for this and any damage suffered by one party will not be compensated by the other.

Complaints and disputes

If the client is not satisfied with his reservation, he can address his complaints to info@comobi.be. Comobi BV makes every effort to take these complaints seriously in order to improve the quality of their service.

If the client is severely disadvantaged by an error or negligence of Comobi BV, Comobi BV will provide compensation.

Should the parties not reach a solution to a dispute, the courts of the district where Comobi BV has its headquarters (Kruideniersstraat 3, 9000 Ghent) are competent. Finally, the unlawfulness of a provision does not result in the entire unlawfulness of these general terms and conditions.
